The scanner at the store will not read my screen.
Open the card so the barcode fills the screen, hold the phone flat about 10 cm from the scanner, and give it a second. Punchpons already turns brightness to maximum. If it still fails, the number is printed under the barcode so the cashier can type it.
My card did not scan into the app.
Some cards print a barcode that is faded or very small. Tap “Enter manually” on the scanner screen, type the number, and pick the barcode type printed on the card, usually Code 128 or EAN-13.
How do I move my cards to a new phone?
Settings → Export backup on the old phone. Send the file to yourself. On the new phone, Settings → Import backup. It works across iPhone and Android.
How do I put a card on my home screen?
Add the Punchpons widget from your home screen’s widget picker, then choose the card. Tapping it opens that card directly.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app. There is no account and nothing on a server, so uninstalling removes every card.
